This call will fund joint transnational research projects addressing the development of diagnostic and surveillance tools, technologies and methods to detect antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Submission deadline for pre-proposals is February 18, 2019. Full proposal invitations are sent to project coordinators in April 2019 and funding decisions will be made in the autumn of 2019. Start of funding is in early 2020. Funding is granted for a maximum of three years.
The Academy of Finland's Research Council for Biosciences, Health and Environmental Research is prepared to fund a total of € 300,000. In addition to the Academy of Finland, participating JPI AMR member countries include Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, South-Africa, Spain and Sweden.
