IC4Water

The IC4Water (International Cooperation for Water) Coordination and Support Action (2016–2021) aims to broaden the Europe-wide research strategy for the water sector to cover regions outside Europe and to find solutions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through international cooperation. The project started in October 2016. The participants include 18 countries and 17 other international communities in the water sector or research funders in countries outside Europe (e.g. Belmont Forum).

The Research Council of Finland participates in implementing the project by, for example, reviewing the societal impact of the activities and promoting researcher networking.
