NORFACE

The NORFACE ERA-NET project (New Opportunities for Research Funding Agency Co-operation in Europe) aims to develop financial cooperation between scientific organisations that fund social sciences. NORFACE develops cooperation in research funding, for example through exchange of information, analyses and joint workshops and research programmes.

The Research Council of Finland has been a NORFACE member since it was launched in 2006. In the current NORFACE research programmes, the Research Council funds three Finnish subprojects with a total of some 500 000 euros.
