Call info for new Finnish Flagships
Welcome to the call info session for the fourth call of the Finnish Flagship Programme on Tuesday 14 March 2023 at 15.00–16.00. The online session will be held in English.
The aim of the Academy of Finland’s Flagship Programme is to pool together expertise from different fields in Finland to form high-level research and impact clusters that will further contribute to increasing the quality and impact of Finnish research. A Flagship is an effective mix of:
- cutting-edge research
- demonstrated impact that supports economic growth and/or other significant societal benefits
- solid collaboration with business and industry, innovation ecosystems and society at large
- adaptability
- strong commitment from the host organisation(s).
Flagship funding is applied for by a Finnish higher education institute or a Finnish government research institute.
During the info session, we will present the call documents and describe the review and decision-making process.
All those who have registered will receive the link to the session in the morning of 14 March.
The session will be recorded. After the session, those who have registered will receive the link to the replay by email.
