Welcome to the RRF Impact Story Training on Monday 4th November 2024!

This impact story training will help you identify the impact of your research and write an impact story of it. The training will also support the research communication of projects and institutions.

Describing research impact demonstrates the significance of the research to society, facilitates the translation of knowledge into practice, and helps to justify the use of resources for research. In the context of RRF-funded projects, it is essential not only to report outcomes but also to highlight the results, effects, and overall impact.

This is crucial for evaluating Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland and for reporting to the European Commission, showing how RRF funding has advanced the green and digital transitions, while also strengthening related RDI competence centers and expertise. Clear communication of these impacts ensures transparency and underscores the value of investments in these key areas.

In this part of the training, you will learn the basics of how to write a good impact story. The training is intended for researchers interested in expressing impact and writing compelling impact stories. This part of the training is open for EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) -funded and other invited researchers.

The language of the training is English.
