Marja Makarow and Jan Goetz from Finland announced as members of new EIC Board

Professor Marja Makarow, former Vice President for Research at the Academy of Finland, has been appointed to the new Board of the European Innovation Council (EIC). Another new EIC Board member from Finland is CEO Jan Goetz of IQM Quantum Computers.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is one of the most important initiatives in Horizon Europe, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. The EIC provides funding to support the creation of European research-based business and breakthrough innovation with scale-up potential at the global level. It has a budget of around 10 billion euros.
