Pre-announcement: RCF Proof of Concept call coming in spring 2025
The Research Council of Finland (RCF) is planning to launch a Proof of Concept call as part of the upcoming spring call.
The Proof of Concept funding scheme is intended to verify the feasibility of research utilisation ideas emerging from research funded by the RCF and the Strategic Research Council (SRC). It also supports the versatile utilisation of research results resulting from those ideas.
Applications are invited from project PIs and subproject PIs of RCF- and SRC-funded research projects whose current funding period ends between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025. The project must have been funded under one of the following funding schemes: Academy Research Fellowship, Clinical Researcher, Academy Project, Targeted Academy Project, Academy Programme, SRC programme, or RCF international project funding.
The call has a planned total funding budget of 10 million euros. The maximum funding for an individual project is 300,000 euros and for a consortium project 450,000 euros. Funding will be granted for two years starting on 1 January 2026.
