NordForsk Nordic-Baltic Green Transition Call
NordForsk: Nordic-Baltic call for proposals for research projects on the green transition. For a successful green transition, new and research-based knowledge is paramount. In this Nordic-Baltic initiative, the focus is on three topics which are all important in the work towards a just green transition. All the three subcalls 1) Energy Efficiency in the Food Systems for a Green Transition, 2) Climate and Gender Perspectives and 3) Democratic Engagement and Citizen-Involvement in Green Transition are open for Finnish applicants. The first topic calls for new insights on energy efficient, resilient, and sustainable food systems. The second topic addresses the importance of including gender perspectives in the green transition, for it to be just, effective, and long-lasting. The third topic concerns representation and legitimacy, focusing on democratic engagement and citizen-involvement in the green transition.
Finnish applicants can apply for funding under all the three topics. The research project must include partners from research performing organisations in at least three Nordic countries, or at least two Nordic countries and Estonia and/or Lithuania.
Each project can apply for up to NOK 15 million in funding. NordForsk expects to fund nine projects.
The call deadline is Dec 5 2023, 13:00 CET (Central European Time). Applications are submitted via NordForsk’s application portal.
