NordForsk call: Sustainable Futures of Forests

The Joint Nordic-Baltic initiative on sustainable futures of forests is an important collaboration that addresses the pressing challenges facing forests in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The projects to be funded are expected to address issues related to forestry, biodiversity and societal transformations.

Applications should provide perspectives and solutions that take into account the complex challenges of climate change, forest ecosystem services and the economic use of forests in a sustainable and balanced way.

The call has two stages and will provide funding for international and interdisciplinary research projects.
